Water Treatment Plant (WTP):
A Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is used to purify raw water (from rivers, borewells, lakes, etc.) and make it safe for drinking or industrial use.
Unlike STP/ETP, WTP focuses on clean water production, not wastewater treatment.

Type of WTP Plant
⦁ Conventional WTP – coagulation + filtration
⦁ RO Plant (Water Purification) – removes dissolved salts
⦁ DM Plant (De-mineralization) – for industrial use
⦁ UF (Ultra Filtration) – membrane-based filtration

Use of WTP in Fallowing Area
 Municipal water supply
 Residential societies
 Industries (boilers, cooling)
 Hospitals & hotels
